Kati Allo was a Queens, New York restaurant featured on season 7 of Kitchen Nightmares. Gordon Ramsay visited the Kati Allo in 2013 and the episode aired in 2014. As of 2024, Kati Allo is closed.
Is Kati Allo still open or closed?
Since the episode aired in 2014, many wonder whether Kati Allo is still open or closed. According to the sources Kati Allo is closed in Queens, nearly 10 months after Gordon Ramsay’s visit.
It was shut down in 2014 soon after the episode was aired. At first, it was stated that it was closed down temporarily for renovations. But it was never reopened. Although the owners never gave any exact reason for the permeant closure, it might have happened due to continuous negative reviews from its’ customers.

Karti Allo update 2024 – Where are they now?
Unfortunately, just a few days after the Kitchen Nightmares episode was broadcast on television, the Kati Allo restaurant closed down in April 2014. Initially, the reason for closure was just a short break to do some renovations. The restaurant had not reopened after their initial closure. After Ramsay’s visit, the restaurant had got some positive reviews of the food quality, but long wait times had been also reported.
In July 2014, a second Greek restaurant, Kalamaki, opened in the old Kati Allo restaurant in Queens, New York. Reviews for the new restaurant are generally positive, and many Kati Allo regulars have also taken up residence here. Kalamaki is famous for its’ nice atmosphere and delicious Greek food.
What happened to the owners of Kati Allo?
It seems that Manny and Christine still live together although their Facebook pages are not much updated about the nature of their current relationship.
