Lucidi fell from the 68th floor of the Tregunter Tower, a 721-foot skyscraper in Hong Kong. He had convinced a security guard that he was visiting a friend on the 40th floor. Surveillance footage later showed him on the 49th floor. He then made his way up the staircase to the top floor.

Unfortunately, Lucidi found himself trapped outside the building. A maid inside the penthouse saw him and called the police. Tragically, before help could arrive, Lucidi fell. A nearby patio became his final resting place, where authorities found his body and sports camera.
