What happened to The Olde Stone Mill Steakhouse in the Kitchen Nightmares?
The Olde Stone Mill Steakhouse had a great ambiance, but Dean’s rude behavior towards the staff, had caused the chefs to lose inspiration and the team to lose morale. The restaurant was struggling financially, making it difficult to pay the employees, and they needed help from Gordon Ramsay.
When Gordon arrived, he was surprised by the restaurant’s beautiful exterior and couldn’t understand why it was struggling. However, after placing an order, he realized why. Gordon found none of the food appetizing, including a salad made using a funnel and crab cakes that came with canned meat despite the server’s claim that everything was fresh.
Gordon shared his opinion with Dean, who took offense and argued that his customers loved the funnel salad. Gordon sat down with Dean and Barbara to figure out the problem. It was revealed that Dean had not informed Barbara about their financial struggles, as he didn’t want to worry her. They were half a million dollars in debt, including multiple mortgages and unpaid.

For over a decade, DiNapoli’s Stone Mill operated as an Italian restaurant. However, recent developments in late 2022 indicate that the property has changed hands again. As of 2023, the restaurant is now called The Wicked Wolf North.
