Five Minutes Furniture Net Worth 2024 Update (Before & After Shark Tank)

Five Minute Furniture Net Worth Update (Before & After Shark Tank)

Jared Joyce pitched his easy-to-assemble furniture line on season 3 of Shark Tank USA in 2012. Five-minute furniture comes with an innovative concept to avoid the hassle of furniture assembling with tools.

Jared turned down the joint investment offered by Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary and left the show without a deal. However, following the show, Joyce partnered with Edison Nation.

Despite its creativity, the high production costs prevented its success and the product did not move beyond the prototype stage.

Joyce continues to invent, with over 200 patents, but Five Minute Furniture is a notable but lost venture in his portfolio. It is no longer a functioning business.

Conclusion

Some companies that appear on the show have not achieved great success, and Five Minutes Furniture was one of them. Sometimes businesses don’t succeed for many reasons. Sometimes, the deal falls through after the founders say yes on camera. Or, as you’ll see, sometimes things happen to the founders themselves, and they choose to abandon the business. Anything is possible. However,  Five Minutes Furniture went out of business in 2022. And the product is no longer available in the market.
