What do we know about the iPhone 15 so far

The iPhone 15 is set to be the most advanced iPhone ever – and out of all the rumors around it, the release date is probably the easiest to predict. In typical Apple fashion, the new iPhone will probably be launched in early September 2023. Apple has been releasing all new iPhones around this date for a decade, with the only exception being the iPhone 12, which was released in October 2020.

The rumors for every new iPhone, however, start well before the new model is released, and that has been the case for the 15 as well. There have been many rumors and leaks surrounding the design, features, processor, cameras, and pricing around the new iPhone, and even though none of it has been confirmed yet, we’ll present you with all the credible info we’ve gathered so far about the iPhone 15.

We’ll also discuss the possibility of Apple introducing an iPhone 15 Ultra, which would surely be one of the top choices to enjoy the best casino bonuses. Stay tuned and learn more about the most anticipated smartphone this year.

Design, specs, and new features

The first rumor about the new iPhone design starts with the display. Apple decided to stick with the same display of the iPhone 13 models for the non-Pro iPhone 14 models, including the unpopular notch and the 60hz display. In comparison, the iPhone 14 Pro models received the all-new 120hz notch-less display with the implementation of the amazing Dynamic Island. Well, new leaks suggest that all iPhone 15 models, including the non-Pro variants, will get rid of the notch and receive the Dynamic Island. This is a major change, although it remains unclear if the non-Pro models will receive a 120hz display.

When it comes to design, the opinions are divided. While some rumors suggest that the new iPhone might introduce a curved-edge display design, Product Owner Tony Sloterman believes that the display will most likely remain flat. The camera bump is expected to rock the same design as the iPhone 14 and 13 too, but the Pro models might get an increase due to the increase in the size of the lenses.

Talking about the cameras, we’re expecting some upgrades in this department as well – particularly with the instruction of the new periscope camera. Our rumors suggest that the new 48-megapixel periscope camera might only find its way to the most expensive iPhone 15 Pro Max, which would mean much better zoom capabilities and long-range photography – something that the competition has already been implementing for years now. The other cameras are expected to be the same as last year’s model, with the non-Pro models possibly getting the 48mp main camera that was first introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro models.

Although not much is known about the processor that will be powering the Pro models, it’s suggested that it will be the Bionic 17 – which will likely make use of 3nm technology. Some early leaked tests suggest an increase in raw speed of about 10%, but an upgrade in efficiency of around 25%.

iPhone 15 Ultra Rumors

Although the rumor has been ‘in the air’ for quite some time, it’s very unlikely that Apple will launch a new iPhone Ultra model. Reliable tipster Mark Gurman has suggested that Apple might release an iPhone 15 Ultra model that would likely have the same specs as the iPhone 15 Pro Max model, but come with a titanium body. However, he later updated his forecast, saying that the Ultra model probably won’t appear until 2024.

What we do know for sure regarding iPhone 15, however, is that it will definitely ditch the Lightning port and either come with USB-C (at least for European models) or stick to wireless charging only.
