The negative space between the “E” and the “x” creates a fantastic white arrow, demonstrating the forward movement of the organization. Can there be a part that you can cut out to show another shape, which also reflects your business and mission? The Girl Scouts firm based its logo on the shape of a woman’s face, literally putting women in the middle of their brand.
Can you focus on a specific element? Perhaps it is possible to find a way to subtly incorporate it on your emblem by means of a negative distance. Microbrasserie Alchemist in Joliette, Quebec uses “A” in the logo; but rather than sticking with a single uppercase letter, they swung into negative space in the “A” in the shape of a beer bottle.
