

This simple & quick recipe is inspired by Home Alone and their massive pizza order at the beginning of the movie.

What you need
For Pizza Bread
- 2-3/4 – 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 package of active dry yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of canola oil
For Sauce
- 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of canola oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil, oregano, marjoram, and thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
For Pizza Topping
- 1 package of sliced pepperoni
- 5 cups of shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Romano cheese
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, yeast & salt.
- Add water & oil, beat until it gets smooth.
- Add enough remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Turn onto a floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic for 5-7 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let stand for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine tomatoes, tomato paste, oil, and all the seasonings.
- Divide dough in half; press into baking pans coated with cooking spray.
- Prick dough generously with a fork.
- Bake at 425° until lightly browned for 12-16 minutes.
- Spread sauce over crusts and top with pepperoni and cheese.
- Bake until cheese is melted for 8-10 minutes.
- Cut into squares.
