Does Slick Barrier Work for Ants?

I’ve looked into Slick Barrier after seeing it on Shark Tank. It’s a non-toxic, slippery coating that prevents ants and other pests from climbing treated surfaces. The product was developed by Aaron and Tony Gonzales, who dealt with scorpion infestations in their homes. They claim it’s a humane alternative to pesticides, effective in stopping insects from accessing treated areas. Has anyone tried it specifically for ants, and how long does it stay effective?

I’m curious about the durability of the coating too. Does anyone know if it’s a one-time application or if it needs regular maintenance?

From what I understand, the product can be applied by homeowners, but they also offer professional installation. The effectiveness might vary with environmental conditions, so it would be interesting to hear how it holds up over time

I applied Slick Barrier around my house, and it worked well to keep ants out. The application was simple, and the product has held up for several months. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but I think it’s worth it for a chemical-free solution.

Did you see any ants trying to scale the barrier like little mountaineers? Anything that keeps bugs out without chemicals is a win in my book!

The product uses a special chemical formulation to create a smooth surface. It was tested with scorpions on Shark Tank, but I’m curious about its long-term effectiveness against different pests like ants

I recently bought the kit and applied it. So far, I haven’t seen any ants. I’ll keep an eye on it and update if anything changes.

Can’t wait for the “slippery slope” updates!

I’m a bit skeptical. Even if it works for the areas you apply it to, what about ants coming in through other entry points? Has anyone had consistent success with this product?

Good question, I think it’s important to consider all entry points. Can anyone share long-term results with this?
